Matt Murphy has grown up in the construction industry. From the days of going with his father to work building houses and doing light commercial work to becoming a Safety Person, Matt has always had his roots planted in the construction industry. Matt took up a full time job as a Safety person in 1997 taking on a project at Dulles Airport. From there he would meet the owner of a safety consulting firm named SEE, Inc. and well the rest is history.
Since the start of his safety career Matt has always tried to work hard to be an asset to whomever he works with. Matt has had the opportunity to teach all over the U.S. on various topics, help hundreds of construction companies and other companies either start their safety program or take their programs to the next level.
Matt sits and has sat on several safety committees for both companies and industry associations. He and SEE, Inc. were most recently added to one of the 72 other voting members of the ANSI A10 committee.
As a trainer Matt brings life experiences and “war stories” to the class room and always strives to make sure the students get to take something away from the classes. Whether he is teaching a closed class for a client, A COSS class, or teaching at a National convention Matt always scores well with his students due to his passion for what he does.
