Interview with Gary Hill – Executive Director. Founded with an initial contribution from Builders Mutual, JSI became incorporated in 2014. Since its inception, JSI has funded significant research and educational tool development through grants with local, state and national partners. Ultimately, JSI will play a critical role in the reduction of job-site injuries and elimination of job-site fatalities. Job-Site Safety Institute (JSI) is a nonprofit organization dedicated to conducting safety research for residential and commercial job-sites. We serve as a research center where educational institutions and industry leaders collaborate and exchange ideas to increase awareness of the inherent dangers of a construction site. The research conducted through JSI grants will produce studies that guide safety practices, set new standards, and influence worker behavior on job-sites.
